Star Marketing Strategy

The Challenge

Star Internet is a vibrant, innovative provider of IT and communications services to businesses throughout the UK, founded in 1995. However, breaking into such a competitive market and building a brand to rival the big industry players was challenging. Star set themselves apart by setting the bar high when it came to customer service, building strong alliances with an extensive partner and reseller network.


The Solution

Working closely with multiple contacts within Star, we developed a range of communications collateral to support the overarching marketing objectives. Sales were key for growth, so we designed and implemented a sales force incentive campaign, with weekly SMS updates on sales targets, as well as point of sale displays in the sales offices. Another vital area was in the marketing support given to partners and resellers, and we developed multiple campaigns and supporting collateral to win new partners / resellers, as well as to strengthen existing relationships.


The Outcome

Star have now become one of the UK’s leading IT and communications service providers, they have achieved extraordinary growth and profit levels and have developed long term, sustainable relationships with customers, partners and resellers.
