The Challenge:

Award winning speaker manufacturers, Acoustic Energy, had developed an exciting new product – Aego 2. The product was a unique speaker/amplifier system which delivered unbelievably high quality sound from a truly minimalist styled product.
However, having created a fantastic new premium product, the problem was then developing a brand personality and communicating the fantastic features to the target audience.

The Solution:

The client had a great product and a strong name, and it was down to us bring the brand to life.
After an initial assessment of the market, we developed a brand positioning strategy together with message development, appealing to the youth target market and lifestyle savvy. The messaging was clear and dependent on channel, played on the theme of size and power.
We worked on developing brand identity together with all supporting communications materials, covering packaging, storyboarding and photography, advertising, in-store POS support, website and exhibition materials.


We were retained to manage the communications requirements for the range as it developed into new product lines with additional features and technologies.
The product developed high profile brand awareness within the target market of audiophiles and achieved market penetration from the high street Currys Dixons Group, a remarkable outcome for a niche product.
