Buildbase and Lafarge Superbike Competition

The Challenge:

How to increase sales and drive awareness in a highly competitive market with a vast number of drylining products available? Lafarge Plasterboard Ltd joined forces with their customers, builders merchants Buildbase, to launch the Buildbase and Lafarge GTEC Superbikes competition.

The Solution:

The campaign aimed to increase the sales of Lafarge GTEC Performance plasterboards and GTEC Frame Fix and Finish accessories, through greater up-selling and awareness of how these leading GTEC products and systems perform beyond standard plasterboards to meet Current Building Regulations.


The Superbike theme was rolled out alongside competition entry, product and technical information. This was successfully executed across in-store and direct mail materials, including the Superbikes ‘Performance’ brochure, posters, mailer, freestanding display, entry form and race box, sales aid, external banner and web banner. In addition to the creative requirements, we managed the print and fulfilment of materials to over 125 branches.
