Case StudyAicoFiled in: Construction
The Challenge:
In line with new business strategy, AICO wanted to generate greater market awareness and engagement with their target audience of contractors, in order to supply product and installation information, as well as upskilling the audience on their market leading smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
However, finding the right creative mechanism for engaging with this trade audience, called for the creation of a character that contractors would find user-friendly and build affinity with.
The Solution:
We worked closely with our client to develop the concept, character and styling of ‘Andy’.
Andy is the face of communications with the contractor and this character has been rolled out to all supporting collateral, including advertising, mailer, handbooks, installation guides, mobile apps, website, counter mat and exhibition support material.
Outcome:
Once ‘Andy’ had developed a rapport with contractors and brand trust had been established, AICO were able to collect the contact details on over 9,000 contractors. This data capture has ensured that all future communications is more targeted, effective and ultimately can only deepen the level of engagement and relationship that AICO have with their audience.
